5. Shareece Wright

Everything hinges on Shareece Wright in the secondary. Wright is pegged as the number two cornerback for the purple and black. The Ravens are gambling on a relatively unproven cornerback. At this point, the Ravens have little choice but to hope this gamble on Wright pays off.

In 2015, we saw the tale of two Wright’s. Immediately after picking up him up, he got toasted. In his first couple games he looked like a whimsical blind man trying to be Matt Murdock, but stumbling the whole way. A few games in, Wright started to play much better.

Wright has only played for the Ravens in 11 games. I don’t know what he will do as a full-time starter and you don’t either. Now that we have seen the good and the bad in his game, it’s even harder to set expectations upon him.

Wright proved that he was coach-able. Maybe he just needed to get comfortable in the right situation. If Wright plays well and everyone stays healthy, the Ravens could have a great secondary. It just depends on the real Shareece Wright standing up. Will we get the wannabe super hero or will he be a real difference maker for the Ravens?
