I sincerely doubt that the Ravens will have this problem in the 2016 season. First of all, Steve Smith Sr. is coming back. Secondly Kamar Aiken proved himself last season. All reports say that Breshad Perriman looks ready to fly past cornerbacks on the football field. If Dennis Pitta’s comeback is successful that will be a real boost to the Ravens offense.
This is one of the rare problems where the Ravens didn’t need to do an awful lot. Injuries created an offense void of talented play-makers; but a full slate of health changes the picture. But the Ravens actively tried to fix this problem. They added Benjamin Watson and Mike Wallace early in Free Agency. This adds speed at the tight end and wide receiver positions respectively. The Ravens also drafted Chris Moore and Keenan Reynolds at the wide receiver position.
The Ravens offense should be a lot more equipped in the 2016 season. I have not even mentioned the seemingly 1,000 running backs the team has. The Ravens have a good core of stars to catch the football. If Perriman shines and Wallace has a rebound year with his new team, the offense could be unstoppable.
