On Monday Night Football the Cleveland Browns were marching down the field. The Ravens needed a stop to give their home crowd a victory. Number 20 delivered. Reed scooped a tipped pass out of the air. He took off from one end zone, and ran to the other for the win sealing score. Reed broke an NFL record with a 106 yard interception return.

In 2008, the Ravens saw Reed break that record. In a game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Reed made the magic happen. Kevin Kolb came in the game for the benched Donovan McNabb. Kolb threw a pass into the end zone and Reed intercepted it. Weaving his way down the sideline and and to the opposite end zone, Reed’s interception return was 108 yards.

I happened to be at both games. The Browns game was the night before my 14th birthday in 2004. These interceptions, at least for me, are the most special of Reed’s interceptions. Both interceptions and both moments, were absolutely and unbelievably euphoric.
