1. Reed’s First Historic Game

2002 was Reed’s rookie season. In an early season Monday Night Football game, against the Denver Broncos, Reed had his first big game. Reed got his first interception in that game. He picked off Brian Griese and returned it for 21 yards. Reed also had his first block punt on the night.

Of course that was a big play game. Chris McAlister famously returned a missed field goal for a touchdown in that game. Reed and Ray Lewis were actually involved in the play as well; their blocks made the touchdown possible.

It was the beginning of greatness. That’s why it reaches the top of our list. It was a great game. The Ravens were heavy underdogs. Reed had a lot to do with the 34-23 win. Reed was a legend for the Ravens. There were many moments worthy of being on this list. Ultimately I chose these five special parts of Reed’s greatness.
