1. Timmy Jernigan

Timmy Jernigan is one of the most talented players the Ravens have. He has had eight sacks in the past two seasons. His potential is limitless. Jernigan has a rare blend of size and explosive ability. Its the kind of talent you only see in the truly special players. While Jernigan has had his moments, we’re waiting for him to become special.

Jernigan has to take a step up this season. There is a ton of competition up front for him. We already talked about Carl Davis. Willie Henry is another player that has the ability to outshine Jernigan. The old cliche goes “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” Jernigan’s biggest problem is consistency. He has to prove he is a warrior on ever snap of the football.
