Ravens Take Care Of Business

The Ravens have been told that their schedule is not that hard. It is however a pretty brutal second half of the schedule. In their last eight games, even if they play well they can have some tough losses. This is why the Ravens must get off to a fast start. The Ravens must beat the teams they are supposed to. They cannot slip up early in the season, because the Ravens season only gets more difficult as the weeks progress.

To give themselves a healthy room for error in the tougher portion of their schedule, the Ravens have to go 6-2 or better in the first half of their schedule. It sounds like a tough thing to do but it’s actually really doable. The Bills at home won’t be easy, but it’s not like the Ravens are facing a power of the AFC. The Browns, Redskins and Giants are all very beatable teams. That should be four wins right there. They then have to get two wins in their battles between the Jaguars, Raiders and Steelers. A 6-2 start would give the Ravens a chance to finish their year in the playoffs.

These are all things that can happen for the Ravens. Quite frankly, these are all things that should happen. There are two take home points here. Good things build on each other. If one thing goes right, the next thing goes right. Secondly everything that can go right for the Ravens is realistic. That has to give you hope going into the season.
