Bad Season Gave 6 Young Ravens A Chance To Grow
Buck Allen
When Justin Forsett broke his arm Javorious (Buck) Allen stepped up and delivered. Allen rushed for 514 yards. While he only rushed for 3.8 yards per carry, he showed that if he gets to the open field, he is hard to stop. Allen showed an even greater ability to help out in the passing game. He had 45 receptions for over 300 yards and two touchdowns.
Allen officially put his name in the hat for the Ravens starting job in 2016. With Forsett coming back, and Kenneth Dixon both as viable starters, he could see his touches dwindle. That is why last season was so huge for Allen. He showed that he could get the job done.
Allen may be my favorite of the three main running backs. He has the potential to be an incredible player. Allen is now on everybody’s radar. He is a known commodity all of the sudden.
