3. Never Procrastinate

The Golden State Warriors did not seem worried when they lost a game with a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. They knew that they could just knock the Cleveland Cavaliers out in the next game. The Cavs won the NBA Finals. The moral of the story is never procrastinate. The Ravens were not in desperation mode. They faced an identical situation with Tucker next year.

But this was something that was good to get done. What if the relationship between Tucker and the team really was frayed? What if the Ravens found themselves in a decision of tagging Tucker or Brandon Williams? Why let there be questions when there can be answers today? The purple and black know how to get business done. By taking something off their to do list for next offseason, they afforded themselves more flexibility for 2017.
