Right Inside Linebacker:
1. Kamalei Correa: I would like the record to show that I called Correa shifting to inside linebacker spot before the Ravens made the decision. Correa was more of a Jarrett Johnson like outside linebacker. He was good at stopping the run and he wasn’t a horrible pass rusher. His speed inside is elite. His speed outside is decent. That’s why it makes sense for him to fill the shoes of Daryl Smith.
Correa may be a rookie but he has what you need, at the linebacker spot. He makes textbook tackles. He has a high football IQ and the ability to make plays in the backfield, he’s going to be something special.
2. Zach Orr: Last season Orr got a chance to get more reps than he would have had, barring injuries. He finished the season with 22 tackles and a quarterback sack. Orr and Correa will be competing for this job in the preseason. I think Correa wins it, but Orr will make a strong case for himself.
