Quarterback

1. Joe Flacco: The Ravens received joyous news the other day, when they learned Flacco will be ready for training camp. Flacco tore his ACL in week 11 of last season. His recovery had been one of the concerns that loomed over the purple and black, this offseason. With the franchise quarterback ready to go, the offense can start to gel.

In 2014, Flacco looked like a rejuvenated passer. He led a very effective offense and threw 27 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions. It will be interesting to see if Flacco can get back to that kind of success. 2015 was a train wreck for the entire team. A sharp Flacco is key to the Ravens turning it around this season.

2. Ryan Mallet: When Flacco went down, Baltimore shuffled through quarterbacks. First it was pick six machine, Matt Schaub. Than Jimmy Clausen got an opportunity. Mallet was the only back up quarterback that had any success last season. Mallet put on a compelling performance against the Steelers. In the surprising week 16 victory, Mallet threw for 274 yards and a touchdown. He showed the Ravens he is a worthy plan B.
