Strong Safety:

1. Eric Weddle: This was the biggest acquisition the Ravens could have even dreamed of making this offseason. The Ravens need to be commended for their work, landing a veteran safety like Weddle. He is now the quarterback of the defense. He has the range to help the pass defense and the run defense. He has the ability to lead the show at the strong safety position. This signing is huge.

Weddle transforms all expectations for the Ravens defense. The big play is going to be out-of-order for opposing offenses. While the big play could be back in the menu for the Ravens defense.

2. Terrence Brooks: Brooks is an incredibly athletic safety. Right now he is one of the more reliable special teams players the Ravens have. Brooks needs to prove that he can pick up the defense, and play aggressively. Talent has never been his problem. Now we just need to see his talent transition into the Ravens defense.
