3. Terrance West

Sticking to a similar theme, West is another player who has to prove himself. It is a lot different from the uphill battle Richardson faces, but it is still an uphill battle. The Ravens like West. They wanted to draft him, but the Cleveland Browns beat them to it.  When he became available, the Ravens signed him. West is a local product, who walked on at Towson University and became a star. Everyone is rooting for West.

It’s just a numbers game. The Ravens are fully stocked at the running back position. It’s doubtful that the Ravens would keep more than three running backs. Richardson and West are probably on the outside looking in, in terms of the backfield competition.

Richardson and West are different players. Much of the Ravens fan base is rooting hard for West to make the roster. He is a good young man who is trying to prove himself. Last season West played well for the Ravens. He did not get a lot of touches but he made the most of them. Everything you hear about West is positive. But his future with the Ravens is questionable at best.
