2. Kapron Lewis-Moore:
The Ravens drafted Lewis-Moore in 2013. They knew that their sixth round draft pick was a slight risk because Lewis-Moore’s ACL injury in his last Notre Dame football game (The national championship where Notre Dame got demolished by Alabama). Lewis-Moore sat on injured reserve in his rookie season. He got injured again before the 2014 season. The Ravens really didn’t get a good look at Lewis-Moore until the 2015 preseason.
Lewis-Moore did not do much for the Ravens in 2015. In five games on the active roster, he made three tackles. The Ravens have been more than patient with Lewis-Moore. They knew they would have to wait when they drafted an injured player. It was not Lewis-Moore’s fault that he got hurt a second time. There just comes a point when the Ravens have to see something from him.
The Ravens have no shortage of talent along the defensive line. Make no mistake, Lewis-Moore is fighting for a roster spot. There is no guarantees. Honestly, he looked awful last preseason. He looked lost and he didn’t display incredible explosive traits that he did in college. This is a player who has played little football since he was drafted in 2013.
