3. Terrance West

Terrance West is a fan favorite. The former star at Towson university is getting a second chance with the Ravens. The Cleveland Browns drafted him to the Ravens dismay in 2014. Last season the Ravens picked him up and he did well with limited touches. Now West is gaining a lot of buzz in training camp.

Jeff Zerbiec of the Baltimore Sun wrote about how West has turned heads already this season. This is how he opened his column:

"t he fans that attended the Ravens‘ open practice Monday night saw the same thing visitors to the team facility witnessed last week: running back Terrance West repeatedly finding holes and breaking through long runs."

West could change everything at the running back position. The Ravens are keeping Justin Forsett, Buck Allen and Kenneth Dixon. It’s hard to see the Ravens keeping four running backs, but West could push that conversation. West has done what he has needed to do. West needs to continue to make cutting him seem like a laughable action.

West has a lot of heart. He walked on to the Towson football team. He made a name for himself. He is a Ravens kind of football player, a relentless worker on a mission. West is a hard man to root against. Let’s hope he keeps showing the Ravens how good he is.
