3 Things To Watch In Ravens Second Preseason Game
By Tj Ray
The Tight Ends
Another interesting position group for the Ravens is Tight End. Their depth chart is seemingly overflowing with them. Benjamin Watson has been brought in from New Orleans to be a veteran presence. He’s most likely going to be the number one. Dennis Pitta is doing surprisingly well so far through training camp after multiple serious hip injuries. If he can stay healthy he’ll be the number two behind Watson.
After those two, There’s Crockett Gillmore, who is still recovering from a hamstring injury, so I don’t expect to see much of him this week. Then there are sophomores Maxx Williams and Nick Boyle. Boyle is facing a suspension at the beginning of the season, but can still look to impress during preseason. Williams is bursting with potential, look for him to make some big plays while he tries to get the coaches’ attention.

Darren Waller and Nick Boyle will be interesting to watch. Boyle is suspended for 10 games while Waller is suspended for four. Darren Waller is not likely to make the team, but will probably see significant reps at the end of this game. He had an impressive outing last week, so if he continues that trend, his chances of making the team will rise.
