Stud: Anthony Levine

Throughout his career, Anthony Levine has been a consistent player for the Ravens on special teams. He’s finally gotten his chance to showcase his talents on defense and is making the most of his situation.

Levine had a sack and interception against the Lions’ first-team offense, adding to his impressive play this preseason. He has shown the ability to play multiple positions, previously being a safety, corner and now, linebacker.

The Cardinals and Rams use a similar approach to their defenses now, having a physical safety play the traditional linebacker spot. This new tactic makes a lot of sense, especially with offenses trending towards throwing the ball more often.

If Levine can keep up this level of play, he’ll see more playing time in nickel and dime defense situations.
