Stud: Joe Flacco

Quarterback Joe Flacco was finally back on the field for the Ravens, nine months after tearing his ACL and MCL. He showed no ill effects from the injury, and looked poised throughout the first quarter.

Flacco had one bad throw, an overthrow of Mike Wallace on the first play of the game, but bounced back to lead the Ravens to two scoring drives.

He threw extremely quickly and many times before the receiver even got his head around. This will allow Flacco to reduce the number of hits he takes, but also add to the yardage that the wide receiver can gain on the play.

Flacco looked comfortable in the pocket and displayed great chemistry with the combination of Mike Wallace and Kamar Aiken, who have both been healthy throughout the offseason.

With the return of Dennis Pitta, Steve Smith Sr., and Breshad Perriman, look for Joe Flacco to have his best season to date. He has the best cast of supporting players around him than in any other point of his career.
