A Look At Ravens and Bills injury Reports
The Baltimore Ravens host the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, September 11 in their season opener. Below is a list of the Ravens match up. Click this link to see the injury report for this game or any other for this week.
Ravens Injury Report
OUT
RB Kenneth Dixon
LB Elvis Dumervil
CB Jerraud Powers
QUESTIONABLE
OG John Urschel
TE Maxx Williams
CB Shareece Wright
Several starters for the Ravens show up on the injury report, but the biggest concern is Dumervil. A foot procedure kept Dumervil out, so he was held out of practice during most of training camp before he returned recently. The decision was made to keep him out of this game.
Dennis Pitta will play today. That leaves the Ravens with Pitta and Gillmore at the tight end position, with Williams being questionable.
Urschel and Wright are also starters whose presence would be missed. Urschel enters the season as the replacement at left guard for Kelechi Osemele who left the Ravens this offseason. With Powers out, it makes it more important for Wright to start the game. If he can’t go, rookie Tavon Young starts at corner.
Bills Injury Report
OUT
FS Colt Anderson
CB Kevon Seymour
QUESTIONABLE
OG Ryan Groy
QB Cardale Jones
RB Jonathan Williams
The Bills list of injuries doesn’t include the players on injured reserve including rookie linebackers Shaq Lawson and Reggie Ragland. Also, add in the suspension of Macell Dareus, and the Bills are missing key pieces of their defense.
Groy might be the biggest cause for concern on the game injury report. While he isn’t a starter, he is an important backup. Furthermore, Seantrel Henderson’s suspension earlier this week made Groy’s spot more valuable.

Rookies Jones and Williams show up on the injury report, but they were unlikely to even make the game day 45 man roster if they were healthy since both players lay at the bottom of the depth chart.
