Ravens Vs. Browns: 5 Key Stats You Need To Know
Anything Wentz Can Do, Flacco Can Do Better:
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Cleveland Browns 29-10 with a rookie quarterback and a team that wasn’t projected to do much this season. Carson Wentz had a good game, going 22/37 for 278 yards and two touchdowns. The North Dakota State quarterback seemed completely ready for the Browns defense. It’s hard to imagine that Joe Flacco would have a hard time with this defense.
The Ravens offense was slightly dysfunctional in their 13-7 victory over the Buffalo Bills. This has all the markings of a “get right” game. The offense will have a chance to get on the right track against a defense that got sliced up by a rookie quarterback. If the Ravens offense does struggle, that would be an awful look for offensive coordinator, Marc Trestman.
When Sunday comes, the Ravens passing attack better get it going. They can probably get by on their strong defense for another week. That doesn’t mean they should not try to blow the Browns out of the water. Beating the Browns convincingly could be an easy way for the offense to gain a little bit of confidence.
