Ravens Vs. Browns: 5 Key Stats You Need To Know
The Ravens Must Get More Out Of Their Ground Attack:
The Ravens offense did not do a good enough job on the ground last week. So far the Ravens have rushed the ball 28 times this season, for the lowly average of 3.0 yards per carry. Terrance West got 12 carries against the Bills and got just 2.7 yards per attempt. Forsett was the leading rusher, getting 41 yards on ten carries.
It should be noted that the average is slightly skewed by Flacco’s four rushing attempts that netted negative three yards. Mike Wallace also had an 11 yard run. It’s hard to praise the rushing attack though, when four ball carriers get just 83 yards.
The Ravens run game is key to what they want to do offensively. If you have been reading my posts, you understand how obsessed I am with the idea of the Ravens leading the league in rushing. They have the talent, they need to unleash it on the Browns. They need to unleash it every week.
