3. Terrance West Needs The Bulk of the Carries

When Kenneth Dixon comes back, the Ravens are going to have to figure out who they want rushing the rock the most. They can’t keep shuffling running backs into the game because none of the running backs get going. Terrance West showed that when he is given a chance to roll, that’s exactly what he does. The former Towson Tiger rushed for 113 yards on 21 carries.

He averaged 5.3 yards per carry and even broke out a 21 yard run. Running back by committee was killing the Ravens offense. Terrance Brooks is quite possibly one of those rushers who gets better as the game goes on. It’s almost like he is a bowling ball that is collecting more and more kinetic energy as continues to roll down hill.

The Ravens have had four games in the books now. In only one of those games the running game made an impact. The Ravens have to give one running back the bulk of the carries and it has to be the hot hand. Right now, West’s hand is steaming.
