Are the Baltimore Ravens Playoff Worthy?
By Steve Rudden
This season has been full of streaks for the Ravens, but are they good enough to be a playoff team?
The Baltimore Ravens playoff chances took a big hit after their loss to the New England Patriots on Monday Night. They are now one game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North Division Race.

My question for everyone is, are the Ravens even playoff worthy? They can be so predictable these days. You never know if they are going to show up from game to game and that can be frustrating.
The Ravens have talented Wide Receivers, but it seems like Joe Flacco checks down to his running backs instead of looking to throw the ball downfield. The running game is basically non-existent these days for the Ravens.
In my opinion, the Ravens aren’t playoff worthy. They have a lot of holes and a lot of work to do on offense and defense.
As you saw from last night, the defense is very different with Jimmy Smith out of the lineup. Smith is a #1 corner in the league, but your defense needs to step up once a player goes down. It was definitely frustrating how well the Patriots attacked the Ravens defense once Smith went out of the game.
Is it me, or do the receivers never seem to be open when the game is on the line or at the start of the game?

I know the Ravens aren’t rebuilding for the future right now, but I think they should start to get younger on offense and defense. Make this upcoming offseason where you let go of some older, expensive players and look to revamp the roster with young players who have speed.
I would be shocked if the Ravens made the playoffs at the moment with the tough schedule they have coming up.
