Baltimore Ravens: Grading The 2016 Free Agents
By Joe Schiller
Vladimir Ducasse
In October the Ravens officially signed Vladimir Ducasse to a spot on the 53-man roster. He had signed with the team in the off-season, but was cut before the start of the season. The addition of Ducasse added depth to a line that was dealing with a plethora of injuries.
When starting guard Alex Lewis suffered an ankle sprain against the Cleveland Browns in November, Ducasse took over the starting role. He was regarded higher than back-ups Ryan Jensen and John Urschel. The 29 year old held his own for the rest of the season and helped provide stability for quarterback Joe Flacco.
The guard was a good plug and play guy for the season but with other players coming back from injury, there will not be much of a need for him. He will most likely find work on another team next season
Grade: B-
