Michael Floyd

Floyd would have been a good pickup a month ago, but not in free agency. The Cardinals released Floyd in December after he was arrested on DUI charges. The Patriots picked him up for the rest of the 2016 season and he has only produced 42 yards and a touchdown.

He started out his career strong, but it has tailed off, especially in 2016. One of the major concerns for Floyd is his hands. He ranked in the upper portion of the league with 4 drops. Well that might not seem like much, it is a lot for a wide receiver. The Ravens need a receiver that is going to have sure hands. Breshad Perriman already struggles catching the ball and the Ravens do not need more problems.

I agree with giving players second chances, but I still think the Ravens should stay away. There are too many off the field risks when it comes to Floyd. There is not doubt that the ability is there, but the Ravens can find a veteran option to come in and contribute.
