2. Pierre Garcon

The most logical signing the Ravens could make is bringing in Pierre Garcon. Garcon is primarily a possession receiver who just turned 30. If that does not sound like a Ravens signing, I don’t know what does. Garcon would come in and be the number one receiver (unless the Ravens manage to draft Corey Davis).

Garcon is a logical replacement of Steve Smith Sr., who is enjoying his retirement. He is coming off a strong season with the Redskins, He had 79 receptions for 1,041 yards and three touchdowns. Garcon is good for another 70 reception season next year.

Derrick Mason, Anquan Boldin, Steve Smith Sr., do you see a pattern here. Garcon would be the perfect receiver to continue that pattern. Garcon would come to Baltimore at a reasonable price. He could be a big time part of the 2017 Ravens pursuit of the playoffs. The Ravens should consider Garcon, as the second best option on the open market.
