7. Martellus Bennett

The Ravens are not in need at the tight end position but no playmaker should be off-limits. Bennett is a big bodied tight end who can go up and get the football. Bennett had 55 receptions for just over 700 yards and seven touchdowns in the 2016 regular season. This tight end is a great red zone threat because of his great vertical ability and his 6’6″ frame.

The Ravens had trouble putting the ball in the red zone. If there is one thing they need, besides better play-calling, its better red zone weapons. The Ravens focus should be scoring points next season. The defense wasn’t perfect, but it was good enough to take this team to the playoffs, if the offense would have put up points on a more consistent basis. Bennett could be what the Ravens are looking for, even if adding another tight end seems a bit insane.

Dennis Pitta and Bennett would be a formidable pairing at the tight end position. If the Ravens are unable to improve the receiver position, a surplus of tight end talent may be the way to go any way. I have a hard time imagining Joe Flacco saying no to the big and explosive Bennett.
