6. Kevin Minter

When Kevin Minter came out of LSU, I wanted him wearing purple. Minter is a ferocious linebacker with an old school physicality and a high football intelligence. What I have always admired, is his ability to diagnose plays. Minter would be the perfect replacement to Zach Orr. Minter has a lot in common with Orr, so it would be a natural transition.

In 2016, Minter was one of the Arizona Cardinals’ best players. Minter had 59 solo tackles with 22 assisted tackles, and 3.5 sacks. The beastly linebacker had 72 solo tackles and 22 assisted tackles in 2015. This signing would be very beneficial to the Ravens defense.

Inside linebacker was not supposed to be an area of need. The retirement of Orr changed that. The Ravens can not go into the season without adding another inside linebacker to the equation.
