Chris Chester

It would be a homecoming for Chris Chester if the Ravens were to bring him back in free agency.

The Ravens selected Chester in the second round of the 2006 draft. He spent 5 seasons in Baltimore, but currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons. On Sunday, he will have a chance to become a Super Bowl champion. He was one of the keys to a Falcon’s offensive line that has been incredible this season. They were the only offensive line to start all 16 games during the season. The Ravens were up to 6 and 7 different combinations in the first 10 weeks.

There is no doubt in my mind that Chester would be welcomed back with open arms. Even at the age of 34, he could still be a serviceable player.  Since 2011, he has started all 16 games for the team he has played on.  This kind of durability is something the Raven’s offensive line could use. He could act as a mentor to the young offensive lineman as they continue to develop.
