JC Tretter

The center position was the a struggling point for the Raven’s offensive line last season. Jeremy Zuttah was able to stay healthy, but his poor play costs the offense on numerous occasions. With cap concerns for the team, Zuttah could be one of the first players on his way out of the door.

J.C. Tretter is a young center that could be a great replacement for Zuttah. The only concern  would be his injury history. He will be coming off of knee surgery, so it is unsure when he would be able to play next. An injury in 2014 forced him to miss his entire rookie season as well. Nonetheless, his upside is something that could excite the Ravens. During the games he has played, Tretter has graded well. He blocks better in the pass game than run game, which is what the Raven’s line needs. They can have Marshal Yanda and Alex Lewis pave the way in the run game.

Because of his injury history, the Packers might be inclined to move on and let him go in free agency. If this is the case, the Ravens could sign him for a relatively cheap price tag.
