4. Jamal Lewis

The Ravens are known to pick some great defensive players, but Lewis is by the far the best offensive pick. During his prime, Jamal Lewis was one of the best running backs in the NFL. In six seasons with the Ravens, Lewis rushed for 7,801 yards and scored 45 touchdowns. His 2003 season is regarded as one of the greatest ever by a running back. He came 39 yards from breaking Eric Dickerson’s all time rushing record. The season earned Lewis the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award.

It is a shame that Lewis was not able to have a longer career with the Ravens. He provided consistency to a position that the Ravens have struggled with as of recent. Since Ray Rice, there has not been a consistent run game. Hopefully the answer is with Terrance West and Kennith Dixon, it will be hard to ever find another Jamal Lewis.
