If you yell “O” during the National Anthem

What became famous at Orioles games has translated over to Ravens games. When you attend a Ravens game, fans will scream “O!” as loud as they can during a certain point in the National Anthem. If you are not familiar with it, it may come off as a surprise to you. It is something that is a tradition to Baltimore sports and that is not seen with other sports teams.

Some may say that the yelling is disrespectful to the anthem, but Baltimore fans will tell you otherwise. The yelling is shown as pride for the country and the city of Baltimore. There really is not anything disrespectful about it. There are no words added, the fans just simply yell one part of the anthem much louder than the other.
