Who Stays?

In a perfect world I hope both are able to stay, but If I had to choose who I think stays, it will be Brandon Williams. I think Williams is the most replaceable, but there is going to be more of a demand for an offensive lineman than a defensive tackle. The NFL is a pass happy league and the quarterback cannot throw the ball if they do not have a line blocking for them. It is definitely easier for teams to work around with their defensive line, but all offensive lines require a center, two guards, and two tackles.

According to Jason La Confora, the Ravens made an initial offer to Wagner, but he rejected the offer.

If Wagner does leave, it is not the end of the world. The Ravens picked up two great rookie lineman in last year’s draft. Ronnie Stanley and Alex Lewis both have very high ceilings and will be the keys to the line going into next season.

The departure of Wagner could allow Lewis to move from guard to tackle. During college, Lewis has experience playing both the guard and tackle position, so he could fit in where the Ravens need it. Vladimir Duccasse took over the right guard spot when Lewis got hurt and played well. He is a free agent, but he could be a cheap option to bring back.
