The Ravens need to get back to the running game. There are two veteran running backs, who would come to Baltimore at the right price, that they should consider:

The Baltimore Ravens don’t have a dire need at the running back position. Kenneth Dixon, Terrance West and Buck Allen are a good trio of young talent at the position. Dixon has the potential to be a superstar. Terrance West has potential that his production has never quite lived up to. Buck Allen shows flashes but all but vanished in 2016. If the Ravens think of Dixon as the future star of the team, and they want to pair him with a veteran back, they’d be justified.

The Ravens obviously didn’t have faith in their running game last season. Joe Flacco threw the football 672 times this past season. While he had over 4,000 yards, it didn’t go so smoothly. The Ravens offense was inefficient and the opposite of fun to watch. If adding another running back gives the Ravens either an incentive or more reason to believe in their running game, I’m all for it.

My colleague, Joe Schiller expressed why he didn’t think Jamaal Charles or Adrian Peterson were right for the Ravens. Now let me give you the case for both running backs:
