The Baltimore Ravens backfield could still use an upgrade. There is no doubting that Kenneth Dixon has a ton of potential. After that everything is up for debate:

The Ravens running backs are not their biggest need. Kenneth Dixon looks like a player that has unlimited potential. Terrance West is a player who can have some big games on the ground. Buck Allen showed a ton of promise in 2015 and has talent that didn’t go anywhere. On paper, the Ravens have this position locked up and ready to go. However, it doesn’t really feel that way.

The Ravens had Joe Flacco throw well over 600 passing attempts. The Ravens had no balance in their offense. All season long we heard that they wanted to run the ball. John Harbaugh fired Marc Trestman when he ignored the running game in the loss to Washington. Then Marty Mornhinweg did the same exact thing on a weekly basis. We keep hearing that the Ravens have to get more balanced, but nobody is convinced that Mornhinweg even knows what a running back is.

The Ravens could use an upgrade in the backfield. Here are three reasons why the Ravens may want to invest in another running back, despite having three quality options to turn to.
