2. Investing In Backfield Could Give Ravens Incentive To Run The Ball:

I think we have established that the Ravens need to get the run game going. I don’t know how many more times I can say it. I’ll keep beating the drum for this until my arms fall off. If investing in an Adrian Peterson or a Jamaal Charles gets the Ravens running the rock, I’m all for it. If drafting another running back gets balance to the offense, they have my blessing.

Flacco is not the type of quarterback that can throw it fifty times a game. He needs help around him and it starts with a competent running game. The Ravens would look pretty silly if they prioritize the running back position and they didn’t run the football. I can’t stress it enough. Anything that gets Flacco handing it off a sane amount of times per game is good with me.

When you don’t like what you have, get what you want. The Ravens need to find a running back that compliments Dixon and move the offense into a new direction.
