If you’re keeping score at home, the Baltimore Ravens are losing in the early stages of NFL Free Agency:

The Baltimore Ravens need wide receivers. This is not something that can be disputed it is a fact. The Ravens best weapons are Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman. Wallace is a 30 year old receiver whose status for next season hangs in the balance.

The Ravens may want to cut ties with Wallace for cap relief, but it’s looking more likely that he will be back. Perriman missed the entire 2015 season, and while we have reason for hope, nobody knows whether or not he’ll live up to being a first round pick.

So it probably frustrated Ravens fans when they saw that two of the three best options in Free Agency were swooped away by the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers respectively. The need a wide receiver. The draft is deep with their other needs. Free Agency is the place to get a wide receiver this year.  If the Ravens come away with no help at the wide receiver position, they will be in trouble.
