Brandon Marshall Going To The Giants:

First there was the news about Brandon Marshall, a player I would have thrown a parade for.

This is what NFL.com’s Conor Orr wrote about the big signing:

"“The Giants now unquestionably pose the greatest three-headed pass catching threat in the division, pairing the six-time Pro Bowler with the dynamic Odell Beckham and promising Sterling Shepard. Marshall’s above-average strength should also aid the struggling Eli Manning, who has a massive target that can control defensive backs within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage especially well.”"

All season long I have been writing about how tiring it is to see superstar wide receivers on other teams, but never for the Ravens. Now you’re telling me that I have to see two of the best play-makers in football play for the Giants? It’s not just frustrating that the Ravens didn’t get Marshall. It’s flustering that Baltimore has next to nothing at the wide receiver position and the Giants pair Odell Beckham with Marshall. The Giants were far from desperate at the receiver position and they are the ones who got Marshall. I need a minute guys… this could have been a big move for the Ravens. Keyword, could have been.

Brandon Marshall would have had a bigger impact on the Ravens than Anquan Boldin had. He could have sparked the Ravens offense. If I were Ozzie Newsome, bringing him in would have been my top priority.
