4. Questions On The Offensive Line:

The Ravens lost Rick Wagner to the Detroit Lions. With the massive deal they gave him, that’s understandable. Vlad Ducasse left in free agency as well. Now the Ravens offensive line has lost a starter and a bench player who proved to be a capable fill in. The Ravens will presumably fill Wagner’s void with Alex Lewis, which is not a bad plan at all. The problem is the Ravens will have to find at left guard.

Keeping Lewis at left guard is what would happen if the world was perfect. Stanley and Lewis developing their games together and creating a powerful left side of the line would be ideal. Lewis showed that he can hold up at left tackle when Ronnie Stanley was out; I have no doubt that he can play right tackle. The Ravens will probably find another offensive lineman at some point in the NFL Draft. That seems to be their standard MO. Wagner just became a highly paid right tackle and he was a fifth round pick.

The Ravens could use another answer at the center position. How Jeremy Zuttah ended up in the Pro Bowl in 2016 is beyond me. Baltimore needs at least one quality offensive lineman added to the mix. Until the Ravens add to their offensive line, there will be reasons for concern.
