1. Taco Charlton, DE/OLB Michigan:

Charlton is the best edge rusher in this draft not named Myles Garrett. Charlton could very well be a top ten pick but Garrett should be going number one overall. He comes into the NFL Draft after his senior year with the Michigan Woulverines. It all started to come together for Charlton in 2016, his only year of eye popping numbers. He had ten sacks and flashed some serious talent on the edge.

When I watch Charlton, I see an incredible amount of upside. He has the length, raw explosive ability and the acceleration to get to the quarterback. From a physical standpoint, Charlton is a freak. Here is a 6’6″ 272 pound edge rusher with quickness and speed. That’s going to be hard to stop, even for NFL left tackles. Charlton has can beat you with his athletic ability but when you add his length to the equation he has the advantage.

The biggest reason I like Charlton is that he reminds me of Terrell Suggs. Suggs came into the league in 2003 as a freak athlete. He wasn’t great at stopping the run, but he was always good at rushing the passer. Charlton has that kind of upside and he will only get better.
