The Baltimore Ravens were left with the sore taste of a loss in Pittsburgh lingering this offseason. Stopping Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers is the Ravens number one priority:

The Baltimore Ravens are building their defense up and it makes perfect sense. On Christmas night, Antonio Brown stole the Ravens lead in the final seconds of the game. This gave the AFC North crown to the Steelers. The defense is the priority, because the Ravens rivals has a lot of firepower.

It is unlikely that the Ravens will be able to match the offensive firepower that Pittsburgh has. Ben Roethlisberger has been adding to his Pro Football Hall of Fame resume. He is still as annoyingly good as he ever has been. Antonio Brown is the best receiver in football; he can make the difference for the Steelers. Le’Veon Bell is an amazing running back. Joe Flacco, Kenneth Dixon and Mike Wallace are a much less exciting big three for the Ravens.

The most likely way to beat the Steelers is with defense. You have to stop the Steelers. You have to frustrate Roethlisberger and bottle up Bell. It’s a tough task but the Ravens did it in their first meeting with the Steelers in 2016. They built a 21 point lead and Bell had a rough day getting anything going. The Steelers made a late march, you can’t stop three elite play-makers forever, but it was a win for the Ravens.
