5. We’ll See The Value of Continuity, Or We’ll See A Change:

John Harbaugh, Marty Mornhinweg and Dean Pees are coming back. The three most prominent coaches on the Ravens staff are returning for the 2017 season. Conventional wisdom had Mornhinweg leaving but we now have another glimpse of Harbaugh’s extreme loyalty. Harbaugh is all in right now. If the Ravens have another disappointing season, it’s hard to imagine anybody on that coaching staff will return. 2017 is either the end of the Harbaugh era or the start of a new run.

The Ravens went 8-8 in 2016 and there were a lot of games that came down to the wire. The Eagles were a two point conversion away from eliminating the Ravens in week 15. Baltimore started the season 3-0 and then lost four straight games. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that the Ravens needed to change things going into the next season. The Ravens have won with John Harbaugh before. They want to win with him again. Continuity is nice, but only if it means keeping a winning formula in tact.
