John Ross. 16. player. 26. . Wide Receiver. Washington

Out of the first round receiver targets, John Ross is the most reasonable. Corey Davis and Mike Williams are the better prospects, but they will go much sooner in the draft. I do not expect the Ravens to trade up in the first round so they would be fine to wait for the best available player at #16. If it is a receiver like John Ross, the Ravens are not going to pass on him.

With the recent departure of Kamar Aiken to the Colts, a wide receiver is still a top need for the Ravens. Joe Flacco is going to need targets to throw to and there isn’t much depth on the roster. The defense is finally starting to come together but the offense still needs to be addressed. The Ravens do not have that home run hitter that is a major threat to opposing defenses. That is where John Ross comes in. His his speed is unmatched by just about any other receiver. A 4.22 forty yard dash only comes around so often. He has the ability to get behind opposing defenses and be a major spark plug for the Ravens offense.
