Reason 1: He’s Knocked The Rust Off:

You have to remember how long it had been before Perriman had played football coming into this season. His last season with UCF ended in December. Perriman got hurt early into training camp in 2015. He didn’t play football until the fourth preseason game in 2016. He had to wait an entire year to get back to the football field.

Perriman had his rookie season stolen from him. When the Ravens drafted him in 2015, they were taking a chance on him. Perriman didn’t get drafted as a finished product. He came into the league as a raw receiver. He needed to learn how to run routes, and to he needed work on the jugs machine. Perriman has blazing speed, perfect size and unfathomably high potential. He came into the 2015 NFL Draft raw. He came into the 2016 season rusty on top of that.

Now things are back to normal. He is technically entering his third season. However this is his first regular offseason. That could make a huge difference.
