Reason 2: He’s Got The Goods

Perriman has the ability to be special. He has a big 6’3″ 203 pound frame. He has incredible speed. There isn’t a cornerback in the NFL that he can’t beat in a foot race. If Perriman commits to the craft of playing receiver, if he perfects his routes, how is anybody going to stop him. Perriman has some serious work to do but if he can figure it out, it’s going to be big.

Perriman caught 33 receptions for 499 yards and three touchdowns in the 2016 season. When he made plays they were big plays; he averaged 15.1 yards per reception. In the blowout against the Dolphins, Perriman caught a ball in the open field and broke away easily for a 53 yard touchdown reception. We know he can do these special things. It’s all about consistency now.

Perriman was a first round pick for a reason. He really was. It was a rough start but it could be a beautiful future.
