Reactions

There are definitely more questions on the offensive side compared to defense. There is a lot of unproven talent, particularly at wide receiver and offensive line. I am not sure if John Harbaugh and his staff feel like Wesley or Nembot could be the answer at right tackle. Both have seen little to no game time. Lewis is also an option, but he excelled at guard last season. Moving him around might not be the best move. It will be one of more interesting positions going into camp this offseason.

Looking at the tight ends, it is not time to panic yet. Six tight ends is a lot for a team, but they might not all be there once the season starts. Nick Boyle has been mentioned as an option for fullback by Harbaugh and Ben Watson could be cut to clear up cap space. They had similar depth going into last season but there were a number of injuries. Sometimes it helps to have more.
