Reactions
The more I look at the duo of Weddle and Jefferson the more I get excited. Those two are going to have a field day in the secondary this season. Both are hard hitters that love to find the football. Inside linebacker position will be the position to watch. This next season will be the real test for Kamalei Correa, assuming he gets the starting job. He was disappointing last season but with an increased role, hopefully he can improve.
Like the offense, there are two main positions that the Ravens will address in the draft: Pass rusher and cornerback. If they do not go receiver in the first round, expect them to target one of these defensive positions. The secondary has gotten better in free agency, but more depth is always needed. There is also no guarantee outside linebacker Terrell Suggs will play 16 games. He played last season with torn biceps, but at the age of 34 he has been through a lot of injuries.
