The Baltimore Ravens have a number of positional competitions heading into camp this offseason

Many people do not realize, but voluntary workouts begin in a week for the Baltimore Ravens. After that comes training camp and eventually preseason games. It is never to early to start looking at positional battles. There will be rookies added into the mix after the draft, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. For now, I am looking at the players currently on the depth chart.

Some of the positions are clear cut, like Joe Flacco at quarterback, but there are plenty up in the air. It is one of the excitements about training camp. There are always practice squad and undrafted players who surprise coaches and fans with their ability to play. We will be able to see these competitions play out and see who deserves the starting spot for week one of the regular season. A lot of these players will be competing for a spot on the 53-man roster.

In this post, I take a look at the top 5 positional competitions battles to watch going into camp.
