Offensive Tackle

Players Involved: De’Ondre Wesley, Stephane Nembot, Alex Lewis (maybe)

After the departure of Rick Wagner in free agency, the Ravens have a big hole to fill at right tackle. Two players on the depth chart that could be fighting for the starting spot are De’Ondre Wesley and Stephane Nembot. Both are undrafted free agents that found their way on to the Raven’s roster.

Comparing the two, Nembot seems to be the more raw talent. He only started to play football during his junior year of high school when he came to the United States from Cameroon. With that being said, his raw power is ridiculous. He is 6’6″ and 320 pounds and is the build for a starting NFL tackle. Wesley sits at the same height, but four pounds heavier. He signed with the Ravens in 2015 and played in seven games on special teams that season. Needless to say, both have a lot of unproven talent.

The reason I add in Alex Lewis is because of the possibility of him moving from left guard to right tackle. He primarily played tackle during his college career and he is the more experienced over Wesley and Nembot. Do not count out the addition of a tackle through the draft, especially somewhere in the mid-late rounds.
