7. Zach Cunningham, LB (Vanderbilt)

There’s nothing not to love about Zach Cunningham. Although Rueben Foster is the consensus number one inside linebacker, Cunningham is a close second. Cunningham was a tackling machine with Vanderbilt. In three years he totaled 36 tackles for a loss. When you watch the tape it’s not hard to figure out why. He reads his keys and he flies to the football.

Cunningham totaled 256 total tackles, six sacks, six forced fumbles and a whopping seven fumble recoveries. Cunningham has a sturdy frame and gets the job done. There really is nothing not to like. In fact, the fact that he’s the second inside linebacker on most boards, just shows how good Foster is.

Cunningham ranks 17th on the Ebony Bird Big Board. He’s a great player who is going to start in the NFL for a long time.
