As we continue to approach the draft, I am back with another 1st and 2nd round mock draft for the Baltimore Ravens.

Nine days. That is how close we are to the first night of the NFL draft. For the Baltimore Ravens, where will they go in the first two rounds? It has not seem to have gotten any clearer as time has gone by. Other than adding a veteran or two in free agency, the draft needs are still the same. Edge rusher and wide receiver are the two main needs along with offensive line, linebacker, and cornerback help.

But as we known with the Ravens, you never know what is going to happen. Even at a good spot at #16, there is possibility they could move back. On ESPN today, sportswriter Bill Barnwell proposed an interesting trade for the Ravens in the first round. They would trade their first round pick (16) and third round pick (99) for pick 27, 59, 180. Obviously it is a hypothetical situation but it sounds like a move Ozzie Newsome and company would make. The Ravens are not the team to trade up, especially in the first round. If anything, they play it safe and move back. This way they get more picks in the later rounds.

In my mock draft, I stick with the original first two picks and focus on the major needs for the Ravens offense and defense.
